Ingredients
- 1kg potatoes
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 clove of peeled garlic
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 sprig of thyme
- 1 cup of milk
- ½ cold butter
Directions
- Put potatoes in a pot of cold salted water, bring to boil, simmer until very tender; time depending on size.
- Put the garlic bay leaf and thyme in a sauce pan with the milk, bring to boil, turn off heat, let sit for 10 minutes, take out garlic and herbs.
- Once potatoes are done peel while hot, mush them up with butter.
- Bring milk to a boil again and slowly beat into potatoes
- Voila!
